Bio! Where do I start? I'll start at the beginning.
Did OK at school managed to get some 'O' levels including Computer Studies way back in '79. I've had a computer ever since, I became a programmer writing accounts/stock control/payroll/booking programs for a small software company. I started playing with websites as soon as they were needed, over 13 years ago.
I did OK at work having tried several jobs I found myself in the building supply business. I was doing OK self employed running my own supplies company but the building supply business struggled due to the recession and I finished in Aug 2008. I started off self employment as a DJ in 1977, it lasted
27 years, 16 years of it at a club called the Bowgie in Crantock. Eventually the smoke filled rooms and attitude of the clientelle got to me and I finished in 2004.
Ever since moving to Cornwall in '76 I've been near the sea, although I didn't start diving until '99. I've trained with PADI, BSAC, TDI, DSAT & did an SDI Instructor course in '07. I'm expanding my diving business after finishing with the builders merchant. I now have a MCA coded dive rib
based near Falmouth and I'm setting up a dive school near to my home. I will also start Scallop diving shortly. Fairly new to CCR, I did Mod 1 in October 2006 (over 200 hours so far). Been diving around Cornwall since 2000, completing around 150 dives a year.
I dive an Inspo Classic and find it very reliable.
